Foreign Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Ohryzko regards the recent statements of Russian authorities about Ukraine as a public expression of internal political processes in Russia.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this in Kyiv today, meeting with representatives of the diplomatic corps, accredited in Ukraine, on occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Ukraine’s diplomatic service.

“We regard the recent signals from Moscow rather as a public expression of the today’s internal political processes in the neighbor state”, V.Ohryzko said.

He also stressed Ukraine would not like outer forces to divide the Ukrainian nation and contrast one regions with others.

According to the Minister, Ukraine sees its relations with Russia as pragmatic, equal, and forecasted, and as really partner ones, basing on the common principles of the international law.

The Minister emphasized that the international plans of Ukraine cannot be fulfilled without any normal relations with Russia.
