Within the framework of his visit to Georgia President Victor Yushchenko met today with Georgian opposition leaders, according to the President`s press-office.
During the meeting President said that Ukraine welcomes the decision to hold pre-term presidential elections and is ready to assist in their free and democratic conducting.
According to V. Yushchenko Ukraine shall send representatives from Verkhovna Rada and Central election commission of Ukraine as well as representatives of state and public authorities as observers within OSCE mission.
President expressed his assurance that all elections participants would respect the results of vote.
V. Yushchenko also added that bilateral relations between Ukraine and Georgia shall be further developing warmly and constructively regardless of elections results.
