WTO General Council to hold session in Geneva on February 7-8

The session of the General Council of the World Trade Organization will take place in Geneva on February 7-8.

The central office of WTO disclosed this to UNIAN.

In the event of accepting the report of the working group on Ukraine`s joining WTO till February 7, this issue will be studied at this session.

FOOTNOTE. The European Union put in the last claim concerning the Ukraine`s accedence to WTO. In order to become the 152nd member of this organization, it is necessary for Kyiv to fulfill the requirement of Brussels to review of the control mechanism of the export duty. As of today, the issue has not been settled.
