Lugar confident Ukraine to become WTO member this year

U.S. Senator Richard G. Lugar, co-chairman of Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, is confident that this year Ukraine may become a WTO member.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.

The economic development of Ukraine is very successful, and this absolutely grounds the Ukraine’s WTO membership this year, he emphasized.
