President of Poland Lech Kaczynski says that his country is interested that “doors to Europe” be open for Ukraine, and that European Union and NATO broaden in future.

      According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this on January 16 at a grand reception of the diplomats and politicians in the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.

      The President underlined that the policy of Poland concerning Ukraine remains without changes.

      At the same time, according to the words of L. Kaczynski, Poland intends to develop good relations with Belarus and Russia. The President noted that “the discord between Belarus and us will disappear, speaking about many internal problems. We will also overcome difficulties in relations with the Russian Federation”.

      Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk, chairwoman of the Office of the President Anna Fotiga, Marshal of Polish Seim Bronislaw Komorovski, Foreign Minister of Poland Radosław Sikorski and others took part in celebrations in the Presidential Palace.
