Turchynov met with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine
Special attention was focused on foreign investors’ rights protection
First Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Turchynov held a meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor, according to the government’s press-office.
During the meeting the sides have discussed the state and prospects of further development of trade-economic and investment cooperation between Ukraine and the USA.
The First Vice Prime Minister told the American diplomat about priorities of the new Cabinet’s activity and contents of the Government Action Program “Ukrainian Breakthrough: for People but not for Politicians”.
Oleksandr Turchynov informed Ambassador Taylor about the Government steps aimed at carrying out the tax reform, implementation of the privatization program and anti-inflation measures.
Special attention was focused on investors’ rights protection, including the foreign investors.
The sides have also discussed a number of concrete directions of bilateral interaction in energy safety, in particular.
