Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko will pay an official visit to the European institutions in Brussels 28-29 January, according to the government’s press-office.

On 28 January, according to the visit program, the Head of Ukrainian Government to hold meetings with President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and Chairman of the European Parliament Hans-Gert Pottering.

That day Yulia Tymoshenko will deliver a speech at the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs and hold a meeting with Secretary General of the European People’ Party Antonio Lopez Isturiz.

The visit program envisages a working supper of the Prime Minister of Ukraine with Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs and EU Coordinator of the Nabucco gas pipeline project Jozias van Aartsen.

On 29 January Yulia Tymoshenko holds a number of meetings. In particular, the Head of Ukrainian Government will meet with European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner, EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson and Vice President of the European Commission, EU Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security Franco Frattini. A working supper with Secretary-General of the EU Council of Ministers, High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana is scheduled. The Prime Minister of Ukraine will also meet with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Guy Verhofstadt.
