General Henault also gave a speech at the Ukrainian National Defence Academy, during the annual International Week organized in cooperation with the NATO Defense College. This year`s event was focused on "NATO and Partners Addressing Security Challenges".
He was proud to be representing NATO in Kyiv on the Day of Honouring Servicemen in Missions Outside Ukraine. "Your nation has a proud history of dedicated and professional service, and this tradition you are taking forward today on operations," he said.
He highlighted the fact that Ukraine is the only Partner country to contribute to each of NATO`s current missions and operations. "This is a significant step to making your forces more interoperable with NATO`s," he emphasized.
