According to an UNIAN correspondent, the Ambassador claimed this speaking at Europe-Ukraine International Forum in Kyiv on Thursday.

According to him, it is quite clear that Ukraine is not ready to NATO membership, and that the Alliance members are not ready to propose Ukraine becoming a NATO member.

The Ambassador noted that the NATO Bucharest Summit in April will decide whether to allow Ukraine beginning the process of preparing to membership.

W.Taylor expressed a belief that the Bucharest Summit will be positive both for Ukraine and NATO.
