The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 15 million patients as of July 22.
As many as 15,023,398 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported as of 22:30 Kyiv time on July 22, according to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The overall death toll is 618,061 people, while 8,529,492 coronavirus patients have already recovered.
The highest death toll was recorded in the United States (142,459 people), Brazil (81,487), the United Kingdom (45,586), Mexico (40,400), and Italy (35,083).
The countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (3,931,359 confirmed cases), Brazil (2,159,654), India (1,193,078), Russia (787,846), and South Africa (381,798).
As many as 188 countries have been affected by the virus.
As UNIAN reported earlier, 829 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 were reported in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 60,995 as of the morning of July 22.
