There were 1,004,908 confirmed cases in the U.S. as of 22:40 Kyiv time on April 28, according to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The U.S. death toll was 57,812 cases.

As of now, there have been 3,094,829 confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide. The three-million level was surpassed on the evening of April 27.

The top five countries in terms of confirmed cases also include Spain, Italy, France, and the United Kingdom.
