The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 30.8 million patients as of September 20.

As many as 30,815,617 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported as of 16:22 on September 20, according to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The overall death toll is 957,633 people, while 21,068,861 coronavirus patients have already recovered.

As many as 188 countries have been affected by the virus.
