The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 147.8 million patients as of April 27.

The highest death toll was recorded in the United States (572,674 people), Brazil (391,936), Mexico (215,113), India (197,894), the United Kingdom (127,688), Italy (119,539), Russia (106,783), and France (103,415).

The countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (32,125,099 confirmed cases), India (17,636,186), Brazil (14,369,423), France (5,565,080), Russia (4,717,321), Turkey (4,667,281), the United Kingdom (4,422,562), Italy (3,971,114), and Spain (3,488,469).

As many as 192 countries have been affected by the virus.
