The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 5.9 million patients as of the morning of May 30.

As many as 5,944,550 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported as of 12:32 on May 30, according to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The overall death toll is 365,361 people, while 2,506,811 coronavirus patients have already recovered.

The three countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (1,747,087 confirmed cases), Brazil (465,166), and Russia (396,575).

The highest death toll was recorded in the United States (102,836 people), the United Kingdom (38,243), Italy (33,229), France (28,717), Brazil (27,878), and Spain (27,121).

As many as 188 countries have been affected by the virus.
