The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 14.1 million patients as of July 18.
As many as 14,107,052 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported as of 08:34 on July 18, according to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
The overall death toll is 602,657 people, while 7,894,890 coronavirus patients have already recovered.
The highest death toll was recorded in the United States (139,266 people), Brazil (77,851), the United Kingdom (45,318), Mexico (38,310), Italy (35,028), and France (30,155).
The countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (3,647,715 confirmed cases), Brazil (2,046,328), India (1,038,084), Russia (758,001), Peru (345,537), South Africa (337,594), Mexico (331,298), Chile (326,439), the United Kingdom (294,803), Iran (269,440), Pakistan (261,917), Spain (260,255), and Saudi Arabia (245,851).
As many as 188 countries have been affected by the virus.
