The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 63.9 million patients as of December 2.

The highest death toll was recorded in the United States (270,691 people), Brazil (173,817), India (138,122), Mexico (106,765), the United Kingdom (59,148), Italy (56,361), and France (52,821).

The countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (13,725,917 confirmed cases), India (9,499,413), Brazil (6,386,787), Russia (2,327,105), France (2,275,429), Spain (1,656,444), and the United Kingdom (1,647,230).

As many as 191 countries have been affected by the virus.
