According to the Interior Ministry, Stoika's whereabouts are unknown since August 17, 2015, and now he has been put on wanted list for evading prosecution.
He is suspected of creating a terrorist group or organization under Part 3 ot Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Earlier, it was reported that, according to unofficial data, law enforcement officers established identity of ten out of 13 alleged participants of an incident at the Antares sports complex and shootout near Narodne gas station. Roman Stoika was also on this list.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the shootout occurred in Mukacheve on July 11 during a conflict between the Right Sector and the people close to Mykhailo Lanyo, Ukrainian MP.According to representatives of the Right Sector organization, the Lanyo, himself, had called them to hold talks, because the Right Sector started interfering with the flows of contraband.
Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 of Article 255 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Creating a criminal organization) and Part 3 of Article 258 (Terrorist act).
Several Right Sector fighters are hiding out in the forests. SBU urged the fighters to surrender their weapons voluntarily.
