Photo from UNIAN During a meeting with rescuers in Rivne region, President Petro Poroshenko informed of the negotiations and the agreements reached with the French side on the transfer of rescue helicopters for the Ukrainian emergency services. "A Memorandum of Intent on the purchase of helicopters will be signed. This is another important step in ensuring that our rescuers could quickly as soon as possible to the wounded and provide first aid," Petro Poroshenko said, according to the presidential administration. According to the president, this year, the first four helicopters, including a med-evac and rescue aircraft, will be handed over to the State Emergency Service. As UNIAN reported earlier, on Thursday, President Poroshenko met in Kyiv with the French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian.
