"We have conducted fairly successful negotiations with the Russian side, which resulted in elimination of four power lines leading to the uncontrolled area from Russia, with monthly supplies of electric power worth of UAH 300 million. These payments are not being made. Thus, we were able to increase the level of payments [by Russia - UNIAN] from 85 %, which was relevant in Q1, up to current 100%, and we expect to maintain this level by the end of the year," Demchyshyn said at the collegium of Ukrainian Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, also attended by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
"We pay only for difference in nodal transfer of energy, unlike we did before when supplying electric power worth UAH 800-900 million," Demchyshyn added.
