Infrastructure Ministry appoints new head of Ukrzaliznytsia

"In order to improve the technical condition of the company, I have signed two orders on Tuesday: Oleksandr Zavhorodniy has been appointed head of the commission on reorganization of Ukrzaliznytsia, as well Acting Director of the company," Pyvovarskiy said.

At the same time, former Acting Director of Ukrzaliznytsia Maksym Blank continues to work as first deputy general director of the company.

According to the minister, one of the key tasks of the new head of Ukrzaliznytsia is to consolidate the company’s income, as well as to improve the technical condition of the rolling stock.

As reported, in early July, Zavhorodniy was appointed deputy head of Ukrzaliznytsia.
