On April 10, 2017, he wrote on Facebook that he had tendered his resignation. From March 2014 to March 2015, he was heading the State Fiscal Service (SFS) of Ukraine. He resigned after an investigation in the service&#39;s heads, which was initiated by the then Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The investigation proved that the SFS&#39; fight against the shadow business had been ineffective. In keeping with the Constitution of Ukraine, the SPF&#39;s head shall be appointed or dismissed by the Rada&#39;s consent.
