"We inject investment in [municipal] infrastructure. For example, we will begin to build a pedestrian lightweight bridge under a Swiss project this year. The bridge is expected to link the Arka Druzhby Narodiv [the so-called Friendship of Nations Arch] near Yevropeyska Ploshcha ["European Square"] and Volodymyrska Hirka ["Saint Volodymyr Hill"]," Klitschko told Novoye Vremya in an interview.
"One can get to Kyiv's places of interest on foot," he added.

Moreover, the mayor shared his plans for the reconstruction of the Hydropark, a landscape-recreational park on the River Dnieper in Kyiv. Three international companies are ready to invest in this project to turn it into a Disneyland-like amusement park. "Investment will total about $500 million. We're now at the final stage of talks," he added.
