Gas blast in residential building near Kyiv: Two bodies found under rubble
Two bodies have been found under the rubble of a five-storey residential building in the town of Fastiv, Kyiv region, which was struck by a gas explosion on Friday morning.
"The bodies of a man and a woman were removed from the rubble at 21:45. Search and rescue work is underway. Rescue teams are dismantling debris on the third floor of the house. Two heating points have been deployed near the building for food and psychological assistance to those affected. Our psychologists are working on the scene," Chairman of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin wrote on Facebook.
As UNIAN reported earlier, a five-storey residential building in the town of Fastiv, Kyiv region, was struck by a gas explosion on Friday morning. The explosion resulted in the destruction of the third, fourth and fifth floors.
