Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said the number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the city rose by 115 in the past day.

"In the past day, another 115 residents of Kyiv tested positive for the coronavirus, including nine healthcare workers. There was one fatality," he said on Facebook on June 26.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 4,724.

According to Klitschko, 58 women, 49 men, and eight children are among those infected.

Klitschko said 25 new patients had been hospitalized, while the rest were self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under medical supervision.

The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in Darnytsky district (19), Dniprovsky and Obolonsky districts (18 each), and Desniansky district (15).

The total death toll in the city was 102 cases.
