Ukraine's SBU special investigator found dead in Kyiv
Special investigator of the SBU Security Service of Ukraine Roman Zakladniy was found dead in Kyiv's Obolonsky district in the early hours of Wednesday, July 15.
"Yes, we officially confirm the death of our employee," the SBU's press service told UNIAN, adding the victim had been investigating cases involving Ukraine's national security issues.
The crime will be investigated by the police, the SBU said.
Kyiv's police, in turn, reported that the man's body with signs of death by violence was found on Iordanska Street at about 02:00 Kyiv time.
"There was a report that a dead male had been found on Iordanska Street, he was sent for a forensic examination to determine the causes of death," it said.
