According to Ukraine Parliament's Human Rights Commissioner Liudmyla Denisova, this was done so that she could visit Russians detained in Ukraine.

"Moskalkova's ban on entry to Ukraine has been repealed. It was due to the fact that she had violated the order of entry to Crimea. Now the ban has been repealed and she may come to Ukraine unprecedentedly," Denisova told Hromadske.

She noted that according to Poroshenko's agreements with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the visits of the Russian Ombudsperson should take place in parallel with the visits of the Ukrainian Ombudsperson to the Ukrainians held by Russia.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 21, calling for the release of Ukrainian hostages held in Russian prisons and in the occupied territories.
