Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak has said 15 representatives of foreign countries, most of whom from NATO Allies, will arrive in Ukraine for the celebration and military parade on the occasion of Independence Day.

"We have invited our partners to participate in the parade. And 15 partners, most of whom are from the Alliance, have confirmed they will come to celebrate our Independence Day together with Ukraine," he said at a briefing as part of the rehearsal of the military parade in Kyiv, an UNIAN correspondent reports.

As UNIAN reported earlier, this year a unit of female troops will march at the Independence Day parade in Kyiv, for the first time in Ukraine's history.
