"Recently, there has been a congress of the Servant of the People Party. Changes were made in the leadership of the party: due to the fact that Ivan Bakanov left for public service, he could not continue to hold this position, and the party entrusted me to fulfill these functions," he said at a press conference in Kyiv, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

He also said the party was preparing for parliamentary elections.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ivan Bakanov, the head of the Servant of the People Party and head of Studio Kvartal-95 LLC, was appointed First Deputy Chief of the SBU Security Service of Ukraine.
