Ukraine plans to gradually join all NATO operations and missions, according to Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine for European integration Anatoly Petrenko.

Speaking during the meeting at the level of Alliance Defense Ministers in Brussels, Petrenko said Ukraine will remain a reliable partner of NATO and plans to gradually join all NATO operations and missions, and also told of the country's plans to strengthen its participation in the NATO Mission “Resolute Support” in Afghanistan, the press service of the Defense Ministry said.

At the same time, it is reported that the heads of foreign delegations positively assessed the state of defense reform in Ukraine and discussed issues relating to the direction of consolidating further efforts in order for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to meet NATO standards and criteria for achieving membership in the Alliance.
