Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine Igor Sokol has said Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko agreed to visit Ukraine at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"We have got a number of positive signals from the elected president of Ukraine. As you know, Volodymyr Zelensky invited Aleksandr Lukashenko to attend the Forum of Regions in Zhytomyr. Our president confirmed his participation. It will become a very important event in bilateral relations," Sokol said, according to the Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA).
