President's Representative to the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, stated that the President's Office is considering the possibility of holding early local elections.
"It will be implemented next fall, or it can be done even before that – we are considering various options pf how to most effectively restart the entire system related to the relations between authorities and citizens," Stefanchuk told a TV panel show on ICTV, Novoye Vremya writes.
The official noted that the president’s team were not interested in "changing faces in the existing system of power".

"Volodymyr Zelensky went in with a clear understanding that we are not interested in the changing people in the current system of government. If you throw a fresh cucumber into a barrel with pickles, it will become also become a pickle," said Stefanchuk.
