The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has ruled that Law "On the Condemnation of Communist and National Socialist (Nazi) Totalitarian Regimes in Ukraine and Prohibition of Promotion of Their Symbols" is in line with the Ukrainian Constitution, a source in the Court told UNIAN.

The decision was made today at a hearing held behind closed doors.

As UNIAN reported earlier, in May 2017, a group of 46 people's deputies of Ukraine, mainly from the Opposition Bloc faction, appealed to the Constitutional Court to declare unconstitutional the law on decommunization.
