Campaign chief of the Servant of the People Party Oleksandr Kornienko has expressed the hope the new parliament will start its work as soon as possible.
"We are planning earlier than it is determined by the law. That's for sure. Yet, August 15 is perhaps too early. By the way, it's a good idea to synchronize this with Ukraine's Independence Day," he told Radio Liberty's Ukrainian service.
Kornienko stressed the Servant of the People Party was not going to wait for the deadline stipulated by law, which is September 9.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the final National Exit Poll with data released as of 20:00 Kyiv time on July 21, said 44.2% of the voters had supported the pro-presidential Servant of the People Party, securing the party's huge lead.
