Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said the Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine will not be liquidated.

"Nobody will liquidate the Ministry for Veterans Affairs," Zelensky said during the opening of the International Forum of Veterans and Volunteers in Kyiv, an UNIAN correspondent reports.

Earlier, the Servant of the People Party said its strategy on protecting the rights of veterans lays in the adoption of a law that would clearly regulate benefits and categories of all veterans, as well as the creation of an agency that would coordinate the provision of social benefits, including to veterans.
