Groysman: Sanctions against Russia should be stepped up if Moscow doesn't actively fulfill Minsk accords
Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Groysman says that the pressure of sanctions against Russia should be increased not only if Moscow violates the Minsk agreements, but also if it is not active in fulfilling them.
He announced this during a meeting with Marshal of the Senate of Poland Bogdan Borusewicz in Warsaw, the Verkhovna Rada's press service told UNIAN.
The sides discussed the implementation of reforms in Ukraine and the situation in Donbas.
Groysman informed about the pace of reforms conducted in Ukraine and their legislative support, in particular, anti-corruption reform, the reformation of the judicial and law enforcement systems, measures to ensure the transparency of the gas market, and the launch of the constitutional reform.
Borusewicz in turn highly appreciated the work of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada and called on Ukraine to do its best to continue local government reform and fight against corruption.
