"We are ready to cooperate even more closely with the Alliance and accelerate preparations for NATO membership, without removing the possibility of Ukraine joining the NATO Membership Action Plan. We are ready today to prove through practical work that Ukraine deserves such a format of relations with NATO," he stressed.

Zelensky expressed hope that "Ukraine's progress in implementing NATO standards, principles and norms, as well as a new format of engagement with the Alliance will be recognized in further political decisions of the Allies."
