Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to introduce for Ukrainians the opportunity to vote in elections online, including with the use of a smartphone.

"In general, our goal is to allow people to pursue relations with the government using a smartphone and the internet, including when voting in presidential, parliamentary or local elections," Zelensky said during the presentation of the Diia [Action] mobile app in Kyiv, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on February 6, Ukraine launched a Diia mobile application, opening access to some government services online.
