Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, at a meeting of the Servant of the People faction, has proposed that Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk be dismissed and Deputy Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal be appointed to this post.

A source in the Servant of the People parliamentary faction shared this information with UNIAN on terms of anonymity.

Meanwhile, Member of Parliament Oleksandr Kachura (the Servant of the People faction) wrote on Telegram that the president had proposed the appointment of Shmyhal as new head of government.

The MP said Honcharuk was absent at the meeting on March 3.

Zelensky reportedly arrived at the parliament for the Servant of the People faction meeting.
