Ukraine's EU envoy Yeliseyev to work for Poroshenko's administration
Ukraine's EU envoy Kostiantyn Yeliseyev has been appointed deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine for foreign policy, according to the presidential press service.
A respective decree was signed by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, the press service told UNIAN.
Yeliseyev will be in charge of foreign policy issues.
Previously, this position was held by Valeriy Chaly, which has been recently appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States of America.
Yeliseyev was dismissed from his previous post by a respective presidential decree.
He is a career diplomat and had worked as the Ukrainian envoy to the EU for five years.
