The new format of peace talks should envisage the participation of the most powerful European states, as well as Ukraine's neighboring countries, including Poland, according to the president.

Duda noted that he intends to discuss this issue at the forthcoming meeting of the heads of state.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Andrzej Duda officially assumed the office of the President of Poland on August 6. Later, Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko and Poland's President Andrzej Duda held a telephone conversation during which they discussed the visit of the special envoy of the Polish president to Ukraine to develop a roadmap of political dialogue and prepare for the upcoming Ukrainian-Polish summit.
