Residents of aggressor state banned from establishing media in Ukraine

A total of 237 deputies out of 304 registered in the session hall voted for this decision, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

The law establishes that legal entities and individual entrepreneurs registered in offshore zones, the list of which has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, as well as stateless persons; legal entities and individuals who are residents of the country recognized by the Ukrainian parliament as an aggressor state or an occupier state, are prohibited to found and participate in television and radio organizations  or program service providers in Ukraine.

This law comes into force on the first day of the month following the month of its publication.
