Poroshenko's decree on anti-Russian sanctions enters into force

"An NSDC decision dated September 2, 2015 "On the introduction of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)" shall be put into force," the document says.

The decree becomes effective as of the day of its publication.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on September 16, Poroshenko enacted a decision taken by the NSDC on September 2 to introduce sanctions against about 400 individuals and more than 100 entities of the Russian Federation and other countries, who are involved in the annexation of Crimea and aggression in Donbas.

The sanctions will be in effect for 12 months.
