It is noted that Dzhemilev is accused of illegal crossing of the administrative border with Crimea. He is also charged with illegal possession of firearms.
The authorities of the annexed peninsula also accuse Dzhemilev of illegal purchasing and illegal possession of ammunition for rifled firearms, which were allegedly stored in a safe in his house along with the "illegal" firearms.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the court of the Russian-occupied city of Simferopol ruled to arrest in absentia the leader of the Crimean Tatar people, Ukrainian MP Mustafa Dzhemilev, his lawyer Dzhemil Temishev wrote on Facebook.
Dzhemilev was put on the federal wanted list, the lawyer said.
Earlier, the occupation authorities of Crimea banned him from entering the peninsula for five years.
