Earlier, Interpol had issued an internationally wanted persons Red Notice for former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, former Health Minister Raisa Bohatyriova, businessman Serhiy Kurchenko, former Finance Minister Yuriy Kolobov, and former MP and Yanukovych's close ally Yuriy Ivanyushchenko.

Now, the AntAC said in a statement on Friday, the Interpol website has no information about the mentioned persons.

"The disappearance of all the suspects from the Interpol database can only mean one thing: the cases of the ex-officials of Yanukovych's regime have successfully been soft-pedaled," head of the AntAC board Vitaliy Shabunin said.

"Once [Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor] Shokin and [Interior Minister] Arsen Avakov sought publicity due to the fact that Yanukovych's allies were put on the international wanted list – now let them explain why they're not there," he added.

The AntAC warns that once an Interpol Red Notice for a person has been cancelled, Ukraine may face difficulties with obtaining a permit for a special pre-trial investigation into this individual's case.

"In fact, the absence of such a permit will not let [the investigators] bring the case to court. Consequently, it will be impossible to recover property stolen by Yanukovych, Azarov and other affiliated persons," AntAC lawyer Denys Svyrydenko said.

"All these persons who have once been included into the sanctions list are suspected of economic crimes and abuse of office for own wealth accumulation. However, there have been recent reports that the court refused to extradite ex-Finance Minister Yuriy Kolobov, who was arrested in Spain in March last year. As of today, international sanctions are applied to 18 former Ukrainian high-ranking officials. Most of the sanctions will be lifted in March if the Prosecutor General's Office fails to prove these individuals' involvement in money embezzlement in Ukraine. Now the Prosecutor General's Office has not finished most of the investigations into the economic crimes committed by Yanukovych's allies," the statement reads.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Member of Parliament and former leader of the Right Sector movement Dmytro Yarosh had been deleted from the Interpol international wanted list.
