Nomination to post of Ukraine's Rep. to Council of Europe already agreed – Klimkin
The candidate to the post of Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe has already been agreed, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs on Friday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"The candidate is agreed, the documents were sent. This is one of the people who has always worked actively with the committee members, a person with relevant experience in international organizations," Klimkin said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Mykola Tochytskyi was the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe. On February 4, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree to appoint him as Ukraine's representative to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community simultaneously.
