Poroshenko appoints new envoy to EU
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree to appoint Mykola Tochytskyi as Ukraine's representative to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community simultaneously.
The decree was signed on February 4, the presidential administration said.
President signed the other decree to appoint Tochytskyi ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium.
Prior to such appointments, Tochytskyi was Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe.
He was dismissed from the previous position in keeping with a corresponding presidential decree.
