Zurabov did not specify whether it will be an exchange of Savchenko for the arrested Russian soldiers, according to the publication citing its source present at the meeting.

Zurabov is also reported as saying said that the Russian side was ready to return Savchenko on March 8, but the Kremlin changed their minds after the attack on the Russian embassy in Kyiv, which was followed by the Donetsk City Court postponing the hearing and Nadia Savchenko going on a hunger strike because of this decision.
