EU to announce visa waivers for Ukrainians in few days – Mogherini
The European Union will announce the simplification of the visa regime with Ukraine in a few days, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said during a meeting of the UN Security Council, Deutsche Welle reports.
She also stressed that the EU would continue working to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine, according to DW.
In addition, Mogherini said the EU would never recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the European Parliament on April 6 upheld the European Commission's decision to grant Ukraine a visa-free regime.
