"President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the President of the European Council have agreed to hold the next summit between Ukraine and the European Union in Kyiv on July 13, 2017," the administration said in the readout of a telephone conversation between the two politicians on Wednesday, May 24.
Poroshenko and Tusk also discussed the coordination of positions pending the G7 summit scheduled for May 26-27.
During the conversation, the Ukrainian president briefed the European official on the situation in Donbas, stressing that Russia continues violating the Minsk agreements.

The Ukrainian president stressed this evaluation should be used by the G7 and the European Council leaders as the basis to extend the anti-Russian sanctions after July 31, 2017.
What is more, Poroshenko and Tusk also welcomed the EU visa waivers for Ukraine from June 11, 2017, and discussed the status of the ratification of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement by the Dutch Senate.
The previous summit was held in Brussels on November 24, 2016.
