Peskov comments on Ukraine's initiative to break diplomatic ties with Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov claims the Kremlin considers Ukraine's decision on a possible severance of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Kyiv to be a sovereign affair of Ukraine, according to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti.
"... Probably, if such a decision is taken this time, this will additionally complicate the situation," Peskov said, RIA Novosti reported.
Thus, "the interests of Ukrainians and Russians will suffer," he said.
